Release 29.0

On April 16th, 2016, MeetMax puts into production a new release of its MeetMax online registration and event management system. This latest release includes a number of enhancements to existing features based on feedback from clients, as well as new features driven by client requests and market demands.

Here's a quick summary of the new features and improvements included in the latest release:

  • CROSS-EVENT REGISTRANT LOOK-UP
    A long-time request from MeetMax Clients across many industries, this new feature is intended to facilitate quicker registration for returning "MeetMaxers".
  • NEW  In this release we've included a powerful new feature in the MeetMax scheduling interface which will allow event administrators to quickly identify scheduling conflicts regardless of the context in which the meeting is being scheduled.
  • NEW  Expanding on our new feature allowing for the use of a graphical user interface for room/booth selection the software now includes the option of a read-only version which includes hover-over information about the room/booth occupant as well as the ability to have registrants click on a booth to indicate they intend to stop by at the event.
  • NEW & IMPROVED  New feature to more easily cancel multiple meetings (e.g. -- all meetings on a day for a company/attendee, or all meetings for a company/attendee).
  • NEW & IMPROVED  As we continue to build out useful new features related to "rooms" in MeetMax we've now also expanded upon this with improved rooms reporting to include reservations, blackouts, and available time slots data.
  • NEW & IMPROVED  Ability for event administrators to "edit the time" of a Non-Attendee (MISC) Meeting slot as well as a "Joinable Group Meeting".
  • NEW & IMPROVED  Payment Events Improvements:
    • Formal support for a "Pay By Check" alternative.
    • Formal support for estbalishing a limit to discount code usage.
    • Implementation of the "Columns" and "Custom Reports" tabs in the Pending Registration list.
    • Option to copy over registration types and options from prior event.
    • Better indication of when an event has payments in 'test mode'.
  • NEW & IMPROVED  Implementation of a new "Settings Widget" on the Institutional Schedule (Group Schedule) page to allow for similar in-application configuration as is currently available on the Your Schedule page. Also included are added schedule configuration options on the "Your Schedule" page.
  • IMPROVED  Expanded functionality of the "Conference at a Glance / Rooms Grid" report to include "Availability" information as well as other general usability improvements.
  • IMPROVED  In-application support for configuring the order of category filters on the "Meeting Requests" page – as well as establishing whether they should be expanded or collapsed by default.
  • IMPROVED  Minor usability enhancements throughout the Meeting Requests and Meeting Times tabs, as well as the Your Schedule page, such as the alpha sorting of companies in lists on Cancelled Meetings, "Edit Meeting" dialogue box, sortable "Ticker" column on Meeting Reuqests, and several others.
  • IMPROVED  E-mail logs now include automatically generated registration confirmation e-mails sent out of the system.
  • NEW  Ability to schedule batch e-mail transmissions at a future date/time.
  • IMPROVED  Enhanced functionality when copying from an old event to create a new one; including more in-application settings and reducing the time needed to get new events set up.
  • MeetMax Mobile  Expansion of functional capabilities within MeetMax Mobile, now supporting the Hotels, Activities, and Payments modules.
  • API Improvements  Improvements to the Presentations List service, including the ability to retrieve all presentation preferences indicated by attendees.
