Release 28.0

On January 23rd, 2016, MeetMax puts into production a new release of its MeetMax online registration and event management system. This latest release includes a number of enhancements to existing features based on feedback from clients, as well as new features driven by client requests and market demands.

Here's a quick summary of the new features and improvements included in the latest release:

  • CONFIGURABLE REQUESTS AND MEETINGS REPORTS
Improved default behavior for Meetings and Requests reporting. Now you can configure the meetings list Excel download report, as well as the meeting requests Excel download and in-application column structure: all without the need for back-end assistance from MeetMax Support. Includes the ability to save custom report views on the Meeting Requests list.
  • NEW  "Joinable" meetings which can be requested from the Meeting Requests interface by Attendees. Examples of this feature in action would include Dinner Meetings (Finance Events) and Demos (Trade Shows).
  • NEW & IMPROVED  Updates to the "Form Editor" interface, including the newly implemented ability to see a field as "read-only" for end-users and the option to use check-boxes for multi-select fields.
  • NEW & IMPROVED  Complete in-application control of Meeting Schedule header configuration for Event Administrators.
  • NEW  Transferability of meeting requests between company attendees when using "groups mode" (unmoderated events).
  • IMPROVED  End-user interface upgrades, including a "Next" and "Previous" menu item link overlay on the bottom of all pages.
  • NEW  Ability to establish a Room Capacity so that rooms can be used for simultaneous meetings.
  • NEW  Feature which allows admin users to establish "internal contacts" for a company which will be copied on all correspondence but not visible to the end-users (e.g. – an IR person at a Finance Event).
  • NEW  Floor Plan/Booth Reservation feature which allows registrants to self-select their room when registering, either via a drop-down or an interactive click-able image file (Trade Shows).
  • NEW  Event administrators can establish a room priority for room reservations, which is respected when using automated room allocation.
  • NEW  In-application configuration for Event Administrators over the layout of the "Received" requests tab.
  • NEW  Built-in support for administrator approval of new registrations.
  • NEW  Dialogue box prompting you to remove the presentation of a company when they are cancelled from an event.
  • NEW  In-application configuration of the "Meeting Requests" block on the schedule page.
  • NEW  Feature which allows for custom fields to be used to establish restrictions on which attendees/companies can request one another. For example: "Do you want to participate in B2B meetings?" If 'no' is selected, your company will still be displayed in the list but other companies will not be able to request you. (Finance Events, Trade Shows)
  • IMPROVED  More rigorous enforcement of request "directionality" to ensure that, when desired, requests are always shown as being "from" a particular "source" and going "to" a particular "target" – even when the administrator makes requests in the other direction (Finance Events).
  • MeetMax Mobile  Enhancement to allow for selection of Presentations in our mobile app, as well as display Presentations on the mobile schedule.
  • API Improvements  Additional fields added in attendee/list service, expanded parameter queries available for meetings and request list services.
